Bare Ceramics Studio offers different types of sessions whether you're here to sculpt, slab build, or paint there’s space for your ideas (and your clay-covered hands).

Clay hand building sessions:

1.5 hours in the studio to create a functional piece of pottery. You will be given a ball of clay to create anything your heart desires this could be a mug, vase or trinket bowl. Have ideas of your own? Bring them in and get creating! I will be on hand to guide you through the process teaching you different techniques to create something beautiful.
After you have finished your masterpieces I will then bisque fire to 1000 degrees and then coat it in my studio creamy glossy glaze to fire again at 1240 degrees to become food safe ready to be collected in 2-4 weeks time.
You will relax and unwind in a shared studio space, perfect for those wanting to work on their own at their own pace or learn a new skill. Whether you're coming on your own or bringing a friend to join you on your creative journey, it's the perfect space to get messy, make mistakes, meet like minded makers, and create beautiful things.
£35 per person
Price includes the studio use, all materials & clay used and both bisque and glaze firing costs (tea and coffee on tap)

Pottery painting sessions:

Pottery painting sessions are great if you don’t fancy getting too messy. Choose from a ready made bisque fired piece of pottery from the shelf and add your own designs using a range of colourful underglazes Every piece is handmade by me making it completely unique. There is something for everyone whether that’s a matcha bowl, cup, a snack plate or the well known booby mugs!

Prices are inclusive of the piece of pottery, all underglaze paints and firing costs. After you have finished painting I will dip it into my studio glossy glaze where the colours will pop and become shiny and dishwasher safe ready to be collected in 2 weeks time.
