It all started when I had a play of some clay in my friends workshop and decided to make a tit pot, I had lots of requests to make them so I started creating pots for friends and family. A lockdown hobby turned into a small pottery business from my lil’ old bedroom to now in my own studio with my own kiln. I host my very own workshops and pot painting parties and I still have to pinch myself sometimes that this s all real and I am where I am now.
Pottery is a very love and hate relationship and I am still learning new things everyday in the world of ceramics and what it takes to be a business owner (its bloody stressful).3 years of so many emotions and milestones that I wouldn’t change for anything. Learning to accept failures and flaws is what’s made me and bare ceramics grow to what it is.
I have recently taken the plunge to quit my job as a full time teaching assistant to grow and pursue my dream as a ceramicsist and business owner full time. You’ve got one life and its about making chances and I’m lucky enough to have the opportunity to do so. Wish me luck!
I have to thank all my family and friends who have helped get me to this point I wouldn’t have done it without them, joining me on markets, hosting workshops and generally just listening to my meltdowns. I Love you
Also thankyou to everyone following, supporting, buying and just being on this journey with me. I see you and appreciate you.
